Disney’s Atlantic Dance Hall: Disney World for Adults

Disney’s Atlantic Dance Hall is one of the few places at Disney World, since Pleasure Island closed, to find live videos and upbeat dancing. Altlantic Dance Hall is located at the Boardwalk Resorts area at Walt Disney World. The location is perfect for those who want some nightime entertainment after a day at the Disney parks. Boat service from Disney’s Hollywood Studios or EPCOT is easy to catch for a ride over to the Boardwalk area and Atlantic Dance Hall, and walking through the World Showcase exit at EPCOT will get you to Atlantic Dance Hall in about 10 minutes.

Atlantic Dance Hall is an over 21 nightclub, where a full bar and larger-than-life music videos play on the dance floor wall on Tuesdays through Saturday nights. There is plenty of seating at Atlantic Dance Hall, from the bar area to small tables located around the dance floor. An outdoor balcony area provides a nice place to step out to and enjoy the night lights of the Boardwalk area and lake. And after a fun night of partying, you could relax in your hotel room while playing sports betting games via www.easyarticles.com and have the chance to win real money.

The Atlantic Dance Hall Experience

Atlantic Dance Hall does not have a cover charge, and that was the first reason I decided to visit Atlantic Dance Hall on a recent visit to Disney World. It is also located corner to corner with the popular Jellyrolls Dueling Piano Bar, and it made a nice dance break. The music videos at Atlantic Dance Hall ranged from popular 80’s music videos, to 90’s and recent music videos. The atmosphere can range from fairly quiet, aside from the music, to busy with travelers and convention guests at Disney World.

Atlantic Dance Hall is the place to go if you want to dance. The large dance floor accomodates dancers of all types, and the age range of Atlantic Dance Hall guests when I visited started with the early 20’s and went up. It is not strictly a young adult dance club, and the variety of people and age ranges makes it a good choice for nearly anyone. Those not interested in loud dance music and videos might prefer one of the quieter Disney Resort bars for a drink.

Drink prices were up there with other more upscale bars, but not outrageous. Drinks averaged around $6-8 for top shelf liquors, though beers were cheaper. Atlantic Dance Hall is a great location for adults traveling in groups. There were several small groups of adults at Atlantic Dance Hall from conventions on my visit. If visiting Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance Hall is also a nice change of scenery for quick dance or two and it takes about a minute to walk over.

Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort area is located at 2101 Epcot Resorts Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830. For more information or to get exact hours of operation, please call (407)939-2430. Free parking is available at the Boardwalk Resort and free Disney bus transportation to the Boardwalk area can be found at Downtown Disney bus stops.
